Objective:
Create a tool that can be used to meet custom pick and pack requirements.
Solution:
Ten years ago, we were kit packing three permutations for McDonald's. We found this "one size fits all" variation in pack outs to be inefficient. Some stores would receive too much signage, while other stores wouldn't receive enough. In conjunction with McDonalds, RGL developed a store specific profile for all McDonald's locations that led to our development of the custom Pick and Pack program. Today, each restaurant receives exactly the amount of POP that their location can support. We now pack 13,000 kits with up to 7000 variations in a four day time period. Huge savings have been incurred across the board due to this more efficient method in place for printing, packing and shipping.
